Sangria
A rich, muted red with earthy undertones — closer to a glass of wine than a fire alarm. In office interiors, sangria belongs where you want people to slow down and stay: lounge seating, guest chairs, banquettes, and the upholstered wall behind reception. On commercial-grade wovens and vinyls the color deepens rather than shouts, so it reads as hospitality instead of urgency. It holds its depth under warm lobby lighting and stays composed under the cooler 4000K LEDs common in open plans; the one place to watch it is direct daylight, which pushes it toward brick.

Cappuccino
Warm brown is doing what gray did for the last decade: acting as the default commercial neutral. Cappuccino spans oat-milk beige through toasted espresso, and it flatters the finishes offices already own — walnut casegoods, tan leathers, brass hardware. Upholstered in bouclés and heavy wovens it reads residential and calm, which is exactly what post-2020 workplaces are reaching for. Under warm 3000K lighting it turns golden; under the neutral 3500–4000K LEDs of most open plans it stays true rather than going muddy, as long as nearby worksurfaces lean white or light oak instead of gray.

Sapphire
Deep, stable blue — the safest entry into 2026’s jewel-tone shift because it behaves like a neutral. Sapphire task seating hides wear and soil far better than the light grays it replaces, panels in this range visually calm a dense open floor, and it photographs well in recruiting and social content. Commercial LEDs treat it kindly: under cool light it sharpens toward navy, under warm light it relaxes without drifting purple. Forest Green
The biophilic movement’s anchor color, matured from trend to standard. Forest green works where offices are already adding plants and natural texture — lounge areas, phone booths, banquettes, and café seating. Deep greens absorb a lot of light, so placement matters: near windows or under generous ambient lighting the color reads lush and calm, while in a dim corner under sparse LEDs it can flatten toward gray. Pairing it with pale oak and maple keeps the scheme daylight-forward, and it is the jewel tone most at home in traditional settings — law and finance offices included.

Pairing note: Green and pale wood is the signature biophilic pairing — pilsner oak and light maple make forest green feel like daylight, while white worksurfaces keep dense floors from feeling heavy. Darker walnuts work too, but they push the scheme formal; save them for private offices.
Amethyst
The most adventurous color in the 2026 lineup, and the one to use in measured doses. Amethyst suits social and collaborative zones — ottomans, poufs, accent lounge chairs, huddle-room seating — where a jolt of color signals the space runs by different rules than the workstations. Lighting changes it more than any other trend color: warm light pulls it toward plum and makes it feel expensive, while cool 4000K-plus LEDs push it gray-violet and businesslike. Sample it under the actual fixtures before committing, and let neutral casegoods carry the rest of the room.

Sunflower
A confident golden yellow used as punctuation, not as the base. Sunflower earns its place in cafés, huddle spaces, and wayfinding moments — a run of counter stools, a single wall of banquette upholstery, accent pillows in a lounge grouping. Yellow has the highest light reflectance of any trend color, so it stays visible and energetic under virtually any office lighting; the same property means large doses become fatiguing at workstations. Keep it to roughly a tenth of a room’s palette and anchor it with light woodgrains and warm whites.
